Our understanding of articular mechanisms allows us to suggest a better adaptation between function, material and user. Cogitobio plays a part in every stage of a product's designing:

• defining the ergonomics and comfort specifications necessary to the drawing up of requirements.

• helping with designing and optimizing a product in partnership with the designer and the product engineer.

• product validation, from prototype product to end product.

Our skills prove useful in various fields of work from orthopaedics to sport to load handling.

Our research work allowed us to develop:

• a database adapted to ergonomics and comfort

• analysis tools for kinematics and postures

• analysis tools for mechanical actions at the man/object interface

• validated methodologies of discomfort analysis

• help software tools for specialization and validation

• digital modelling.
